    • Senior Software Engineer [MFD] (F/M/D)

      As we would like to expand our development team at MEON Functional Diagnostics we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (f/m/d) who is interested in the challenges of developing an innovative medical product (full-time).

      What will you do?

      • Creation of software architectures and development of software concepts
      • Implementation of software for medical devices according to development standards and guidelines based on IEC 62304
      • Implementation and maintenance of unit tests and CI/CD pipelines
      • Interdisciplinary collaboration with other teams
      • Creation of technical documentation and knowledge transfer within the team
      • Mentoring other employees in the team

      What do you bring?

      • Extensive professional experience in object-oriented software development
      • Experience in planning and implementing automated tests (unit tests and/or test frameworks)
      • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
      • Independent, methodical and structured way of working
      • Team player with good knowledge of German and English
      • Completed technical education (university, technical college) in computer science, telematics, biomedical engineering or related technical areas

      Preferred Skills

      • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket
      • Knowledge of programming languages such as C++ and Python
      • Experience with the Qt framework for creating graphical interfaces
      • Application and integration of database systems
      • Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum

      What do we offer?

      • The monthly gross salary is above the “collective agreement for employees in the metal trade”, is at least € 3,809.29 * 14 (38.5 hours, completed master's degree with 4 years of professional experience), and depends on the training background, experience level and qualifications
